Inclusive Freedom

"Freedom" a simple, unsuspecting word. Yet, it has been the only agent of war known to man. Be it the fight for freedom to rule or the fight for the freedom of not being ruled.

Freedom in its own right can mean anything for an individual and could be the means to justify any action to one's self. And freedom without perspective is the root of all conflicts. It has to be ingrained in us that our limitless freedom is limited to the extent that it does not encroach on someone else's freedom. We are free to do anything as long as our actions or thoughts do not undermine the freedom of other people to live the same way. And yes, if need be we have to limit our actions to accomodate for others. It is the voilation of others freedom that forces us to set boundaries to human behaviour.

Is this perspective truly the axiom of law today? A law based on the right of freedom be it mental or physical could not be restrictive but rather comforting that you can do as you wish as long as you are not intrusive on others. And to contain oneself is not a bad bargain for protecting your own space, is it?

Freedom is not a right that extends only to our species. It extends to all life forms. But the truth is, we blatantly encroach on the freedom of other species and even of our own for that matter. Our's is a selfish freedom.

We have lived for generations the way we have. We know that we have ruined a lot. If we continue this way we will be free but all alone. We need to seek and respect the freedom of everyone and everything around. We need to be inclusive. The Earth is not just our own birth right.

A question of axioms

Is there any axiom Law is based on? Is there really something like an absolute right or worng? Will be great to get views.

I will share mine in the next full blog entry... :)

Magic is the Pinnacle of all Technology

I often wonder, where are we going... Why do we make new things? Why are we improving what already is? Where does it end? Does it ever end? Will there ever be a time when we will not be wondering "what iF..." ?

You know, these are still less serious questions, the bigger question is that can something live forever? Today we have created a company, and its not so difficult to do so, trust me. You get an idea, you realise people would want to buy it if they see it, you work towards making it (i won't say its easy doing that, but still) and you start selling it. Yet, creating something that will live forever, yes that indeed is a challenge. Be it a physical product or an idea.

But lemme not digress... I intend to find out what should I aim at... is there an ultimate end to technology...? to making things...? can there be something we cannot improve upon...?

I have been mulling over this thought forever... and I would like you to think about this as well... and share your thoughts about this in the comments below...

I have always been fascinated by magic. The ability to manifest something from nothing. mere thought resuting in action without effort. WOW!!! That has always been a huge pull. I suck on magical fantasies, novels, movies, animes, anything... And its not that I dont do it conciously. I do.

Even I wonder at times why am I so silly. I know that all this is not possible in real life but still I watch read and many a times live in a fantasy world myself.  But, now I know my answer.

Every technology, every field has its end in being able to achieve its goal magically. To be able to do things without seeming to do them. To be able to move without seeming to have twitched a muscle. To vanish at one place and be at another the next instant. Ah!!! Is that not what we appear to aspire to in whatever we make or think. I for one do aspire to make things magical.

Magic is the Pinnacle of all Technology.

And in that I find the answer to my question about making something live forever. An organisation with the aim of creating magic is bound to live forever. For either it will never achieve its goal, or it may do so and the world will have nothing better to buy for eternity. :)

What iF,

What iF, I could charge my cell phone anywhere…

What iF, I never ran out of charge…

What iF, my car could run longer on the same fuel…

What iF, I never needed fuel again…

What iF, I could get some backup power when power cuts…

What iF, I never went out of power again…

What iF, I could protect my self from pollution…

What iF, there was no pollution…

It is such ideas that I have nurtured all along. Ever since I remember innovation has been my song. Where the world is today, was not my design, but I know for sure the future will be mine. I know of no other way to exist, but to Forge these ideas into realities.

Everytime we see a problem I believe we unfailingly see what should have been otherwise. Problems always give a glimpse of the solution as well. What may not be there is the path to the solution. And that I believe is personal choice of getting into it or not. For me it is manifests as a natural compulsion.

Its really funny when I look at the world we have designed at large. Zillion miles of road and tracks simply because we cannot make vehicles adaptive enough to travel quick even without them. Zillion acres of forests cleared because we cannot find a way to live with them around us. Ah! Everything we do we push the natural world away from us. There is somehow no desire reflected in our work to live with it.

What iF, we create technology that builds our world around nature.
What iF, we live and let live.

the thought and the action

Some thoughts seep so deep into the bone and create an itch so strong that you have to do something about it. That is how it all began...

the thought

What iF,
we coexist with nature, as if we were never to be.

Imagine being surrounded by an untouched natural world wherever you are. Yet, imagine a world where there is creation, there is taking from the nature and there is giving back. A world as it should be and will be as we make it our one end, our one vision.

There is creation today, there always has been and will be. For as along we are awake we seek engagement, we seek enrichment of this experience. We have created uncountable experiences over the ages, and continue to do so day in and day out. And for our own designs we pilfer from nature and do not care what we throw back for it to handle.

We will always be here, or so is the hope, but will nature survive us? Maybe not at this rate when we are all over it leaving it bruised and blue. We need to coexist with nature. We need to reduce our foot print on it. Of course we will still produce, consume and dispose, but we need to conserve and reuse everything. We need to give back nothing that nature is not used to. We need to be as if we were never to be but another part of it.

the action

Sustainable Power,
wherever you are, whenever you need it!

As we forge ahead in time, the desire to share experiences with more and more people is taking a deeper root. Affordable solutions for healthcare, education, transportation, communication, lifestyle and entertainment are emerging at a rapid pace to enable even the grassroots to share the same life.

Energy is an essential component enabling these devices to serve us. And with increasing reach and mobility there is a need for the energy sources to be available everywhere or be mobile. It would indeed be ideal if we were able to tap energy out of any source available at hand. This what we have set out to achieve at ideaForge.
